    @caranthir I think the position is interesting enough to be worth keeping, but if you decide to discard the problem due to it being a duplicate that is also understandable.

    This is a follow-up problem to 12 that asks what if the opponent refuses the ko. The bottom comment had a good idea. The problem should start at the inferior play of the opponent I think. Corrected.

    As it stands, this problem is exact copy of the previous one. In my opinion Q1-R2-S1 variation can be used here to show why white cannot avoid ko. In the previous problem both players already play optimal moves (Q1-P2-R2-Q2-S1) and the position ends in a ko anyway.

    (White bottom side) The status of the Black stones is death with ko in the beginning, until the inferior reply by Black (descending at S1), which is then unconditional death. This is uncommon for tsumego problems as both sides should play their best moves in the main line to arrive to the solution. I suggest the starting position of this question to be after Black descending.
