    I checked the sources, and this problem is really like this in the series. But it is quite weird to have a sub-variation of a previous problem as a next problem, shouldn't it be the other way? First the sub-variation to understand the concept, and then, later position that includes the sub-variation and more.

    I would say for a website it makes more sense to have the sub-variation first as you suggested. The Cho Chikun books and pdfs came without solutions, though. If nobody tells you if you found the solution and there is no try and error, it probably makes more sense to have a hint in a later problem.
