I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a thought regarding the 2-1 tag.
In my limited opinion:
If the 2-1 move is played as the first move, it often provides a unique tesuji-like benefit, which is great.
If the 2-1 move is played as a crucial point in a vital follow-up sequence, that is also acceptable.
However, if the 2-1 move is the fifth move filling a liberty in a semeai, I believe that does not qualify.
What are your thoughts on this?
